"Having worked as an art instructor for 6 years with the elderly in the non-profit program Art With Elders, as well as a college professor teaching in the fashion and fine art anatomy department for 3 years, I currently find my devotion given towards the creation and exhibtion of my art. The creation aspect has me traveling to various parts of the U.S. for research purposes, where the resulting art made from this is constantly on view thru national exhibitions as well.
Current and past shows have included White Walls Gallery, Spoke Art, Art Whino, Academy of Science, Art Scope Miami, The Emerald Tablet, and many more. Whenever opportunities arise, I try to be involved in charities involving the arts which have included the SPCA, Japan Tsunami Relief, The San Francisco Coalition for Homelessness, and more." - Akira
